Yashmi Gowda (యష్మి గౌడ) is a South Indian actress, model, and entrepreneur born on 30 August 1995 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, into a middle-class Hindu Kannada family. She attended Holy Child English High School, Bengaluru, and completed her graduation from Dayananda Sagar Institution. During college she discovered acting by spontaneously attending an audition with friends, landing her first role in the Kannada serial Vidya Vinayaka (2017). She crossed into Telugu television with Swathi Chinukulu, followed by a supporting role in Trinayani and the lead negative role of Mukunda in Krishna Mukunda Murari (Star Maa). Her most celebrated performance was as Bhairavi in Zee Telugu's Naga Bhairavi. She also participated in Super Serial Championship Season 3 alongside Pavan Rajput and performed at the Sankranti Sambaralu 2020 event. Beyond acting, she founded an online home décor store called Yashsay. She is fluent in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English. In September 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 from Day 1 and was evicted in Week 12, finishing tenth overall.
