Yuvika Chaudhary (युविका चौधरी) is an Indian actress and model born on 1 January 1984 in Batala, Gurdaspur district, Punjab. Her father is Suresh Chaudhary and her mother Sushma is a homemaker; she has two brothers. She attended Arya Senior Secondary School, Batala, and later moved to Mumbai to pursue acting. She made her acting debut in the Telugu sports film Sye (2004, dir. S.S. Rajamouli, starring Nitin, as the female lead Anitha), which was a moderate commercial success. Her major Bollywood break came as the parallel female lead Sarasijaa/Sanjana in Farah Khan's blockbuster Om Shanti Om (2007), appearing opposite Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Arjun Rampal — a debut that made her a household name. Further Bollywood films include Hum Tum Shabana (2011) and Blue (2009), while in Punjabi cinema she appeared in Sat Shri Akaal England (2017). In October 2015, she entered Bigg Boss 9 (Double Trouble) paired with Aman Verma. Inside the house, she fell in love with Prince Narula, a storyline that became one of the season's most-followed romances. She was evicted in Week 4 (Day 27), finishing sixteenth overall. She and Prince Narula married on 12 October 2018 in Gurgaon and won the dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 9 (2019) together. Their daughter Mehr was born in October 2024. In May 2021, she publicly apologised for using a casteist slur in an old social media video that resurfaced.
