Bobby Darling (बॉबी डार्लिंग), born Pankaj Sharma on 15 August 1973 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is an Indian actress and television personality. She is widely recognised as one of Indian cinema's pioneering transgender and gender non-conforming public figures. She grew up in Bhopal and later relocated to Mumbai in pursuit of an acting career, adopting the screen name Bobby Darling. She made her television debut in the highly popular Balaji Telefilms production Kasautii Zindagii Kay (Star Plus, 2001–2008), playing Nishtha — a domestic worker in the Basu household — a role she maintained for several years of the serial's run and for which she became widely recognised. She followed with extensive appearances in Bollywood comedy films of the 2000s–2010s, including Masti (2004), Kya Kool Hai Hum (2005), Lucky: No Time for Love (2005), Golmaal (2006), Hello (2008), 36 China Town (2006), What's Your Raashee? (2009), Bheja Fry 2 (2011), Grand Masti (2013), Hera Pheri 3 (pending), and many others — typically in comic roles exploiting gender identity for humour, a circumstance she has spoken about critically in retrospect. She was also a participant in the reality show Khatro ke Khiladi (Season 1). In November 2006, she entered Bigg Boss Season 1 on Sony TV. She was the first housemate to be evicted from Bigg Boss Season 1, leaving in Week 1 (Day 6), finishing fourteenth overall. In 2018, she married Ramneek Sharma; they later announced a divorce.
