Kashmera Shah (कश्मीरा शाह), born Kashmira Chedda, is an Indian actress, dancer, and television personality born on 15 July 1980 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is of Gujarati heritage. She attended school and college in Mumbai and trained in dance from a young age. She began her Bollywood career in the mid-1990s with item dance appearances in Telugu and Hindi films — notable early roles include Sheela Chaudhary in Yes Boss (1997, with Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla), supporting appearances in Hera Pheri (2000, as Kabira's sidekick), Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge (2000, as Lovely, with Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor), Jungle (2000, as Bali, with Fardeen Khan), and item appearances in Kurukshetra (2000), Vaastav (1999), and Ankhen (2002). Later films include Janasheen (2003), My Bollywood Bride (2006), and Holiday (2006). She appeared in an extended version of Murder (2004). In November 2006, she entered Bigg Boss Season 1 on Sony TV. She was evicted early and brought back for a re-entry (Week 6), eventually finishing seventh overall. She also participated in Bigg Boss 16 (2022–2023) as a wildcard. She married comedian-actor Krushna Abhishek (nephew of Govinda) on 3 June 2013; they have twin sons, Krishaansh and Rayaan, born in 2017 via surrogacy.
