The role of Karan Mehra and Rohan Mehra as on-screen father and son on the show created a unique dynamic when both appeared together on Bigg Boss 10 as real-life unrelated contestants sharing the same surname. He also appeared in the web series Twisted (2017) and various short films. In October 2016, he entered Bigg Boss 10 on Colors TV. His calm temperament and genuine emotional expression — particularly during some of the season's most tense moments — made him a consistently well-liked contestant. He was eliminated in the penultimate week (Day 101), finishing fifth.
