Arti Singh (full name Aarti Singh) is an Indian actress and television personality born on 5 January 1986 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the younger sister of comedian and actor Krushna Abhishek (nephew of Bollywood superstar Govinda) and the sister-in-law of actress-host Kashmera Shah. She completed her schooling in Mumbai and pursued a career in the entertainment industry, influenced by her family's entertainment background. She made her television debut in the early 2010s and went on to appear in Meri Maa (Life OK), Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji (Star Plus, as Sona), Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain! (AND TV), and Wagle Ki Duniya (Sony TV). She also appeared in the web series 2 Minutes and the reality show Big F. She is known for her honest, emotional, and vulnerable screen presence. In September 2019, she entered Bigg Boss 13 on Colors TV as one of its original contestants. Her deep friendship with Sidharth Shukla — who called her 'sister' throughout the show — became one of the season's warmest and most discussed relationships. She completed all 140 days of the season and finished fifth in the grand finale on 15 February 2020. She married comedian Deepak Chauhan in 2024.
