Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga is an Indian politician and activist born on 24 September 1985 in Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. His father, Preet Pal Singh, runs a garment shop; his mother is Kamaljeet Kaur. He dropped out of school after Class 10 to help with the family business, later completing the Bachelor Preparatory Programme at IGNOU and a diploma in National Development from Taiwan's National Defense University. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a teenager and became active in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at age 16, rising to become its National Secretary by age 23. In 2011, he founded Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena, a nationalist organisation. He rose to national prominence that year by disrupting author Arundhati Roy's book launch and slapping advocate Prashant Bhushan in his Supreme Court chambers over comments on Kashmir - incidents that catapulted him into the media spotlight. He became Delhi BJP spokesperson in 2017 and contested the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections from Harinagar (losing to AAP). In 2022, Punjab Police arrested him in a case filed by an AAP leader over alleged communal provocation; the Punjab and Haryana High Court later quashed the FIR. He also founded TshirtBhaiya, an online store selling patriotic-themed merchandise. He entered Bigg Boss 18 in October 2024, becoming the first politician in years to participate in the show. He was evicted in Week 10, finishing 15th.
