Puneet Vashist (पुनीत वशिष्ट) is an Indian television actor born on 7 October 1988 in Delhi, who is based in Mumbai. He began his acting career in Hindi television serials, building his profile through multiple long-running shows. He appeared in Balika Vadhu (Colors TV), Tumhari Pakhi (Star Plus), and his most prominent role was Vimal Agarwal in Star Plus's Ek Mutthi Aasmaan (2013–2015, produced by Suzanna Ghai), a serial focused on domestic workers' rights, which ran for approximately 430 episodes. In November 2015, he entered Bigg Boss 9 as the first wildcard contestant of the season (Week 4, Day 25), paired with Rimi Sen as the season's Double Trouble pair entering mid-game. He was evicted in Week 5 (Day 34), finishing fifteenth overall — one of the shorter wildcard stints of the season.
