Naveen Sajju is an Indian playback singer and music director born on 30 November 1990 in Mysore, Karnataka. He earned a diploma in music from Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music University, Mysore. His musical journey began in local orchestras, where his powerful high-pitch vocal style earned him a growing reputation across rural and urban Karnataka. His breakthrough came when music director Poornachandra Tejaswi offered him the chance to sing in the Pawan Kumar directorial Lucia (2013) - one of Kannada cinema's most celebrated independent films. His song 'Ede Thumbi Haduvenu' from the film became a cult classic, and he received the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for it. He went on to sing in Akira (2016), Half Mentlu (2016), Bhujanga, Ricky, and Rang, and made his debut as a music composer with the films Kanaka (starring Duniya Vijay) and Yen Nin Problemmu. He has stated that he has no intention of stopping his orchestra performances - a medium he regards as his primary creative home - even as his film career grows. In October 2018, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 6 as one of the nine celebrity contestants. His music, warmth, and genuine personality made him a beloved presence in the house. He finished as the first runner-up on 27 January 2019. He has subsequently released the albums Orchestra Mysuru and Hulidurgaa, and acted in the Kannada film Hulidurgaa.
