Divya Uruduga (nicknamed Chinnu by friends and family) is an Indian actress and social media influencer born on 16 January 1990 in Uruduga village, Thirthahalli taluk, Shivamogga district, Karnataka. Her father's name is Manjunath Uruduga and her mother's name is Kusuma Manjunath Uruduga; she has two brothers, Darshan and Deepak Uruduga. She completed her high school in Thirthahalli and earned a B.Sc. in Multimedia from a college in Mangaluru, during which time she also became fluent in Tulu. Her favourite city is Mangaluru. She is a tea lover, particularly fond of Kalladka tea. She was discovered by the makers of the Kannada TV serial Chitte Hejje through her social media photos - an unconventional casting that launched her acting career. She went on to appear in the Kannada TV serials Ambari (2015), Khushi (2015), and Om Shakti Om Shanti (2016). Her film career began with Huliraya (2017, directed by Aravind Kaushik), playing the lead role of Lachi. She followed this with Dhwaja (2018), Face 2 Face (2019, as Sneha), Girki (2019), and Ranchi (2020). In February 2021, she entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 8 as one of the original contestants. She was evicted in Week 10 (Day 69), but then re-entered the house for the 'Second Innings' on Day 72, competing further. She was among the five finalists and finished as the second runner-up overall (third place). She began a relationship with fellow contestant Aravind KP during the show; the couple starred together in Ardhambardha Prema Kathe (December 2023). She also returned for Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 (2022).
