Soorya J Menon is an Indian model, actress, DJ, and RJ born on 20 October 1993 in Kerala. She completed her schooling at Stella Maris Boarding School, Kozhikode, and later earned her graduation from the University of Kerala. She began her career as a model, featuring in print shoots for apparel and jewellery brands and appearing in several magazines and TV commercials. She then transitioned to radio jockeying and subsequently into disc jockeying, earning recognition as the first female DJ in Kerala - a milestone that brought her national media attention. She has also appeared in a supporting role in the Malayalam film Celebration (2017). Known for her free-spirited personality and her declared aspiration to one day build a shelter home for abandoned elderly people, she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 on 14 February 2021, introducing herself to the housemates as a model, actress, RJ, and Kerala's first female DJ. She was evicted in Week 13, finishing ninth.
