
Rinosh George (born 1992 in Ernakulam, Kerala) is an Indian rapper, singer, actor, composer, and DJ who works predominantly in the Malayalam entertainment industry. Raised in Bengaluru, he attended Shanthiniketan High School, De Paul International Residential School, and Christ School in Bengaluru, followed by Krupanidhi Pre-University College and the Oxford College of Arts, Bengaluru, where he pursued a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism before dropping out in his final year to pursue music. He began his career as a voice-over artist and radio jockey at Timbre Media (January 2015 - September 2017). His song 'This is Bengaluru' became a viral hit, and in June 2016 he released 'I'm a Mallu' - a celebratory anthem about Malayali identity, food, films, and culture - which quickly became a cult classic with over 1.5 million YouTube views and made him a household name in Kerala. He collaborated with American rapper BanG Gully and Bangladeshi rapper Shree Sen on the international track 'Sunrise' (2014). He acted in and directed the music for the Malayalam sports thriller Nonsense (2018), directed by M.C. Jithin. In March 2023, Rinosh participated in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5. His warm, genuine personality made him popular with housemates and viewers alike, but he was unable to continue due to ill health and walked out of the house voluntarily in Week 13 (Day 89), finishing eighth overall.
