
Ansiba Hassan is an Indian actress, television anchor, radio jockey, and dancer born on 18 June 1992 in Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala, into a Muslim family. The second of six children born to father Hassan (a photographer) and mother Rasiya, she has an elder brother Anees and three younger brothers (Ashik, Asib, Afsal) and a younger sister Afsana. She completed her BSc in Visual Communication from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She debuted in the entertainment industry as an anchor in Malayalam television, later transitioning to acting. She made her Malayalam film debut in Innathe Chintha Vishayam (2008) and rose to national prominence with her portrayal of Anju George - Mohanlal's daughter - in Jeethu Joseph's blockbuster thriller Drishyam (2013). She has since appeared in over 40 films including She Taxi (2013), Little Superman (2014), and Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan (2017). On television she has hosted numerous programmes on Asianet including Maruhaba, Comedy Stars, Mylanchi Monchu (Flowers TV), and various special shows. In March 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 as the first contestant to enter the house. She served as captain during Week 2 following Sijo John's hospitalisation. She was eliminated in Week 11, finishing eleventh. In 2025, she was elected as Joint Secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).
