Ruchira Ravindra Jadhav is a Marathi actress, theatre artist, and model born on 13 July 1989 in Dadar, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her father's name is Ravindra Jadhav and her mother's name is Maya Jadhav. She completed schooling at Parag Vidyalaya, Bhandup, and graduated with an MSc in Genetics from K.J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, Ghatkopar. During her college years she was deeply involved in theatre, winning both the Best Actress and Best Writer awards at the Sakal Karandak competition in 2012. She made her television debut in Colors Marathi's Tuzya Vachun Karmena (2016, as Nupur Soman), followed by roles in Be Dune Daha (Star Pravah), Majhe Pati Saubhagyawati (Zee Marathi), and Prem He (Zee Yuva). Her breakout came with the role of Maya - a smart, ambitious businesswoman - in the top-rated Zee Marathi drama Majhya Navaryachi Bayko (2020-2021), alongside co-contestant Kiran Mane. She has also appeared in the film Haemolymph: Invisible Blood (2022, as Sajida Shaikh) and the Marathi comedy-drama Luckdown (2022). In October 2022, she and her partner Dr. Rohit Shinde entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4 together as the franchise's first-ever real-life couple contestants. She was evicted in Week 6 (Day 42), finishing 15th overall.
