Arnav Amjath (real name Amjath Khan) is a Tamil television actor and model born on 26 April 1989 in Aranthangi, Pudukottai, Tamil Nadu. He completed schooling at a private school in Chennai and earned a BSc followed by an MBA from Madras Christian College, Chennai. After his studies, he ventured to Switzerland and Malaysia for textile business before returning to India and pursuing modelling and acting. He was a member of his school state volleyball team. He made his television debut in the Sun TV serial Sakthi (2014), where his portrayal of the complex anti-hero Arya earned him multiple Best Male Actor nominations and made the show a hit in both India and Sri Lanka. His next major role as the devoted husband Yugendran in Keladi Kanmani (Sun TV, 2015–2017) was warmly received by audiences. He also appeared in Priyasakhi, Kalyana Parisu 2, Azhagu, the Zee5 web series Singa Penne, and the Star Vijay serial Chellamma (2022–2024) as Siddarth. He is married to actress Divya Sridhar. In October 2024, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 as an original contestant and was evicted in Week 2 (Day 13), finishing 23rd overall.
