Amit Bhargav is an Indian actor, television presenter, and voice actor born on 25 November 1989 in Bangalore, Karnataka, who works primarily in Tamil and Kannada entertainment. He completed a degree in Computer Science Engineering before pursuing acting. He began his career with the Kannada serial Seethe (2010) playing Lord Rama, before moving to Chennai in 2012 to take on the iconic role of Lord Krishna in Sun TV's Mahabharatham (2013). He became a household name through his lead role as Arjun in the long-running Star Vijay serial Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai (2014–2017), winning Vijay Television Awards for best actor in 2015 and 2017. He also appeared in Tamil films including Yennai Arindhaal (2015), Miruthan (2016), and Aranmanai 3 (2021). He is married to Sriranjani Sundaram (June 2016) and they have a daughter. In 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 as a wildcard contestant.
