Apsara CJ is a Tamil transgender model and actress born on 27 September 2000, from Parasala, Tamil Nadu, who was raised in Trivandrum, Kerala. Her birth name was Kitchu CJ; she chose the name 'Apsara' after her gender transition, inspired by Nayanthara's character in the film Maya. She secured class-first rank from 6th to 12th grade and holds a BSc in Computer Science from Nanjil Catholic College of Arts and Science, Kaliyakkavilai. She built her modelling career through fashion shows and brand campaigns across Kerala and Tamil Nadu, becoming a finalist at Miss International Queen India 2023. She is known for her grace, confidence, and strong camera presence in the South Indian fashion circuit, with an Instagram presence of over 100K followers (@iamapsaracj). In October 2025, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 as one of the original contestants, and was evicted in week 2.
