Praveen Raj Devasagayam is an Indian television actor born on 13 April 1990, who grew up in Kanchipuram before moving to Bangalore, where he completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Indian Academy Degree College. He began his career as a stand-up comedian and improvisational theatre artist, developing a natural ability to connect with audiences, before entering Tamil television. He is known for playing multiple notable roles — including Killer Durga in Bharathi Kannamma, Azhagar in Eeramana Rojave, and various characters in Kizhakku Vaasal and Ponni — on Vijay TV. He has also appeared in Tamil films including Panta (2017) and Sketch (2018, alongside Vikram and Tamannaah). He is reportedly fluent in seven languages. He is married to Tamil TV actress Aishwarya (2021). In October 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9, and was evicted in week 5.
