Dr. T. Diwagar, popularly known as the 'Watermelon Star', is a Tamil physiotherapist, social media influencer, and actor born on 9 April 1988. He hails from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, with family roots in Salem. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree and is a member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (MIAP), working at Selvarani Physio Clinic in Madurai. He rose to viral fame on Instagram for his humorous and eccentric short reels — often involving a watermelon as a comedic prop — earning him his signature nickname. He also appeared in Tamil serials Siragadikka Aasai and Idhayam. In October 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 as a contestant, becoming known for his entertaining chemistry with fellow housemate Gana Vinoth. He was evicted in week 6.
