Tejaswi Madivada (తేజస్వి మడివాడ) is an Indian actress and model born on 3 July 1991 in Hyderabad, Telangana. She attended Hyderabad Public School and Nasr School for Girls, and earned a B.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism from St. Francis Degree College for Women, Hyderabad. She began her career as a journalist, briefly working for the Times of India, before becoming a freelance dance instructor at Twist N Turns, also teaching MNCs including HSBC, Wipro, and Franklin Templeton at their corporate events at Nasr School and Hyderabad Public School. She was noticed when she appeared in a '7Up' commercial alongside Allu Arjun, which sparked her interest in acting. She finished as 2nd runner-up at Miss Dabur Gulabari 2011, reportedly receiving her first film offer at the pageant. She made her acting debut in the ensemble blockbuster Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013, dir. Srikanth Addala, starring Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, and Samantha) as Geetha, Samantha's younger sister. Her breakthrough lead role came in Ram Gopal Varma's horror film Ice Cream (2014), widely praised for her performance. She subsequently appeared in Manam (2014), Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju (2015, with Sharwanand), Srimanthudu (2015, with Mahesh Babu), Subramanyam for Sale (2015), and Mister (2017). On television, she won the dance reality show Super 2 (ETV, 2016) and later participated in Bigg Boss Non Stop (Disney+ Hotstar, 2022). She has 1.1 million+ Instagram followers. In June 2018, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2, where she had much-publicised clashes with winner Kaushal Manda. She was evicted on Day 41/42 (Week 6) via a self-elimination task, finishing fifteenth overall. After her eviction, she publicly spoke against online trolling directed at her by the Kaushal Army.
