Jabardasth Avinash (born Kalla Avinash; 22 September 1991 in Karimnagar district, Telangana) is an Indian comedian, actor, and mimicry artist who works predominantly in the Telugu television and film industry. He comes from a modest farming family in Karimnagar - his father, who once drove for prominent Bollywood figures including Anil Kapoor in Mumbai, instilled a strong work ethic in him. He has two brothers, Ashok and Ajay. He completed his schooling in Karimnagar and later earned a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Holy Mary Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, followed by an MBA. He began his entertainment career as a mimicry artist on local Telugu TV shows, auditioning for various comedy programmes including Kevvu Keka in 2013. While working on the ETV show Tadaka, he was spotted by comedian Chimmak Chandra, who invited him to audition for Jabardasth. He joined the show in 2014 and quickly became one of its most recognised faces through his comedic skit character popularly known as 'Mukku Avinash'. His timing and mimicry made him a fan favourite. He has also appeared in Extra Jabardasth, Patas Comedy Show, and Telugu films including Nana Nenu Naa Boyfriends (2016), Kuncham Fun Kuncham Run, and Ana Gana Oka Durga. Before India banned TikTok, he had over 1 million followers on the platform. In September 2020, he entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 as a wildcard contestant, where his humour and competitive spirit made him a memorable housemate. He finished seventh after 80 days. He returned for Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 as a wildcard contestant and reached the Top 5 finale.
