Jordar Sujatha (born Prathikantham Sruthi; 25 July 1995 in Chennaraopet, Warangal district, Telangana) is an Indian television news anchor, journalist, and trained classical dancer. Born into a Hindu family, her father is Rajendra Prathikantham (a private businessman) and her mother is Sandhya Prathikantam; she has two elder sisters and a younger brother. She grew up in Narasampet, Warangal district, and completed her education in Hyderabad, earning a Master's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Hyderabad University (Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University). Driven by family financial hardship, she began earning during her intermediate years by working as a school teacher, receiving Rs. 2,500 as her first salary. She subsequently moved to Hyderabad, worked in online marketing, and auditioned for Teenmar News before joining HMTV. In 2016 she debuted as anchor and journalist for HMTV's satirical news show Jordar News - a programme blending current affairs, political satire, and entertainment news - through which she became nationally known as 'Jordar Sujatha'. She won the National Television Award in both 2009 and 2010 (the first Telugu news presenter to do so), and in 2019 won the Nandi Award from the Andhra Pradesh government, becoming the first journalist to receive it. She was also listed in the Hyderabad Times Most Desirable Women on Television in 2017. As a reporter, she covered major national and international events for TV9 including the Indonesia Tsunami (2018), Pulwama terror attack (2019), and Sri Lanka church bomb blasts (2019). She is also a trained classical dancer. In 2020, Jordar Sujatha participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4. She was evicted in Week 5 (Day 34), finishing fourteenth overall.
