Damini Bhatla (born 4 July 1996 in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh) is an Indian playback singer, songwriter, and independent artist who works in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam film music. She is the great-granddaughter of the celebrated Telugu music director Susarla Dakshinamurthy, and comes from a musically gifted family - her elder sister Mounima Bhatla is also a professional singer. She received her early Carnatic music training in Kakinada under Smt. Akunda Satyavathi, and later continued her studies in Hyderabad under Sri D.V. Mohan Krishna and Sri N.C. Murthy. She earned a B.A. in Music from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad (completed 2018). She was spotted by M.M. Keeravani while performing at a local singing competition, and was invited to audition at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. He became her mentor and her recording of the song 'Pachcha Bottesina' for Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) - including its Tamil version - became one of the most celebrated songs of the franchise. Her other notable playback credits include songs for London Bridge (Malayalam, 2014) and The Godfather (Hindi, 2022; 'Blast Baby'). She released her debut independent album First Things First (2020) and has since released several original singles. She received nominations from the IIFA Utsavam (Best Female Playback Singer) and the GAMA awards (Best Duet Song). In September 2023, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7. She was evicted in Week 3 after 20 days, finishing 17th.
