Kiran Rathod (born 11 January 1986 in Jaipur, Rajasthan; also credited as Kiran Rathore) is an Indian actress and former model who works predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films. She grew up in Jaipur and later moved to Mumbai, where she graduated with a B.A. from Mithibai College of Arts. She is the cousin of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and actor Amjad Khan. She began her career in modelling before making her screen debut in the Hindi film Yaadein (2001). She transitioned to South Indian cinema and made a significant impression in Tamil films, including Gemini (2002; opposite Vikram), for which she won the Cinema Express Award for Best New Face Actress, and Villain (2002; opposite Ajith Kumar). She also appeared in Anbe Sivam (2003), Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani (2002), and several other Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada productions. She appeared in the Tamil blockbuster Leo (2023) in a brief role. In September 2023, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7, but faced challenges due to the language barrier (communicating primarily in Hindi and English rather than Telugu). She was evicted in Week 1 on Day 8 - the first contestant eliminated from the season - after spending just 6 days in the house, finishing 19th.
