Hari Teja (హరి తేజ) is an Indian actress, television presenter, anchor, and professional Kuchipudi dancer born on 24 February 1992 in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, to a Marathi father (a BSNL employee) and a Kannada mother. From childhood she received formal training in Kuchipudi dance and classical singing. She married Deepak Rao in 2015 and they have a daughter, born in April 2021. She began her career in Telugu television serials - most notably Manasu Mamatha and Muthyamantha Pasupu - and as an anchor for the ETV Telugu cookery show Abhiruchi and the game show Pandaga Chesko. Her film debut was in Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule (2007), and she rose to cinema prominence with her memorable supporting role as Mangamma in Trivikram's A Aa (2016). Her extensive filmography includes Attarintiki Daredi (2013), Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Jamba Lakidi Pamba (2018), HIT: The First Case (2020), Aa Okkati Adakku (2024), and Jr. NTR's Devara Part 1 (2024, as Janhvi Kapoor's friend). She was one of the 16 contestants in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1 (2017, hosted by Jr. NTR), finishing as third runner-up (second runner-up by some sources). In 2024, she returned to the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 house as a wildcard contestant in the Reloaded phase and was evicted in Week 10, finishing eleventh overall.
