Bio
Abu Malik is an Indian music composer, singer, actor, and music director born on 15 April 1965 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is the younger brother of acclaimed Bollywood music composer Anu Malik and the son of celebrated singer-composer Sardar Malik, placing him at the centre of one of Bollywood's most musically distinguished families. He has two daughters. He built his career as a music composer and playback singer across Hindi cinema, with notable credits including Tere Naam (2003, starring Salman Khan), Waqt: The Race Against Time (2005), Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena (2005), Aashiqui 2 (2013, as co-composer), and Songs of the Times. He has also worked as an actor and appeared in reality programmes. He performed live music inside the Bigg Boss house during his stint, regularly entertaining his housemates. In September 2019, he entered Bigg Boss 13 on Colors TV as one of its original contestants. He was eliminated in Week 3 (Day 21), finishing twentieth.
