Andrew Jaypaul (popularly known as Andy) is an Indian actor, model, and event manager from Bengaluru, Karnataka. From his schooling days he developed a strong interest in performing arts and acting, appearing in short films and Dubsmash videos before his Bigg Boss opportunity. He worked as an event manager, organising events and productions in Bengaluru, and is widely known among his circle for his love of food and dining - a trait that became one of his most endearing characteristics inside the Bigg Boss house. In October 2018, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 6 as a commoner contestant - one of nine selected through online Voot auditions - under the nickname 'Andy'. His cheerful, genuine personality and strong social bonds made him one of the most popular commoner contestants of the season. He reached the grand finale on 27 January 2019, finishing as the third runner-up (fourth place).
