Gurbani Judge, known professionally as VJ Bani or Bani J, is an Indian actress, former MTV VJ, model, and fitness icon born on 29 November 1987 in Chandigarh, Punjab. She completed her schooling in Chandigarh and holds an education background in arts. She is of Sikh descent. She entered public life in 2006 when she was selected for MTV Roadies 4, one of India's toughest reality shows, where her physicality, aggression, and fearlessness made her one of its most memorable participants. She joined MTV India as a Video Jockey and built a successful hosting career before transitioning to acting. She won Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 (Colors TV, 2009). Her Bollywood film debut came with Aa Gaya Hero (2017). Her acting breakthrough was the acclaimed Amazon Prime web series Four More Shots Please! (2019–22), in which she played Umang, a lesbian fitness trainer — a groundbreaking portrayal for Indian OTT content. She is also known for MTV's Man's World (2015) and Siddharth Malhotra's music video Baar Baar. In October 2016, she entered Bigg Boss 10 on Colors TV as one of the celebrity contestants. Her fiery personality and refusal to compromise her opinions made her one of the season's dominant personalities. She finished as the first runner-up on 29 January 2017.
