Daniel Annie Pope is an Indian actor from Madurantakam, Chengalpattu district, Tamil Nadu. He studied Visual Communications at Loyola College, Chennai, where he was active in the theatre group and also worked with writer Yani's Pariksha theatre group. He won the Best Mimer of South India Award in 2008. He made his film debut in a small role in S.J. Suryah's Irai (2006) and went on to appear in about 15 films, gaining wider recognition for his role in the ensemble comedy-drama Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013). Other notable appearances include Kappal (2014), Iruvarsivakumaar (2016), and Vetrimaran's acclaimed Vada Chennai (2018). He married his longtime partner Denisha shortly after exiting Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2, and the couple welcomed a baby boy in June 2020. In 2018, he participated in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 and was evicted in Week 11, finishing 9th.
