Dhanushree is an Indian social media influencer and content creator from Bengaluru, Karnataka. She built her initial audience on TikTok - where she was best known for her expressive lip-sync videos to Kannada film dialogues and popular songs - before TikTok was banned in India in June 2020. Following the ban, she transitioned her following to Instagram and YouTube, where she pivoted her content focus to beauty, hair care, and skin care tutorials and routines. By the time she entered Bigg Boss, she had around 242,000 Instagram followers. In February 2021, she entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 8 hosted by Kiccha Sudeep as one of the original contestants. She was the first contestant to be eliminated from the season - evicted in Week 1 (Day 6) - finishing twentieth and last.
