Vikas Jayaram Phatak, popularly known as Hindustani Bhau, is an Indian social media content creator, comedian, and actor born on 13 December 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He built an enormous following on YouTube and Instagram through his signature style of satirical, patriotic, and comedic videos — often playing a boisterous Mumbai streetwise character making outspoken statements about social issues, Pakistan, and Indian culture, which resonated deeply with a certain cross-section of online India. Before his social media fame, he worked in various jobs in Mumbai. His real name is Vikas Jayaram Phatak. He has been associated with the Shiv Sena and has spoken at several local political gatherings. He has also appeared in Marathi films. His videos became particularly viral in 2017–2019, making him one of India's most recognisable vernacular content creators. In October 2019, he entered Bigg Boss 13 on Colors TV as a wildcard contestant — one of four wild card entries that season.
