Jaswanth Padala (also known as Jessie) is an Indian fashion model, actor, and story writer born on 28 August 1993 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He has one sister and was raised in Vijayawada. His family of four included his parents, sister, and himself. After completing his college studies, he entered the modelling industry in 2015 when he was given an unexpected chance to walk the ramp for a fashion brand at a show in Bengaluru. He quickly gained recognition for his commanding presence and tall physique, earning the fan nickname 'Milind Soman of Hyderabad'. He accumulated several modelling titles: Mr AP Traditional Icon (2017), Model Hunt Season 2 Winner, and Most Popular Supermodel India (2018). His most notable modelling achievement was choreographing and coordinating a Guinness World Record-eligible continuous 36-hour ramp walk featuring more than 200 models at the DreamZone School of Creative Studies, Chennai (2019), for the school's annual fashion event. He is a passionate devotee of Jagannath and often references his faith publicly. He made his acting debut with the Star Maa serial Saptha Mathrika (2017) and followed up with the Telugu film Entha Manchivaadavuraa (2020). In September 2021, he entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 hosted by Nagarjuna. He walked out of the house voluntarily in Week 10 (Day 69), finishing tenth.
