Junaiz VP (born 30 November 2001 in Kannur, Kerala) is an Indian YouTuber, content creator, and actor. His early life was marked by profound tragedy: when he was just eight months old, his mother was killed by his father in a domestic altercation, after which he was raised by his maternal uncle and elder brother. He later completed both a bachelor's and a postgraduate degree before working at a finance company in Bengaluru. In October 2021 he quit his job to pursue a full-time career as a content creator, launching his self-titled YouTube channel. He initially posted humorous short videos, and as his audience grew he evolved towards satirical commentary, creating the recurring character 'Amina' to communicate social and political commentary through comedy. By 2023 his channel had surpassed 1.2 million subscribers. He describes himself as an introvert who finds refuge in reading novels. In March 2023, Junaiz participated in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5, where his intelligence, emotional depth, and quietly strategic gameplay made him one of the most consistent performers of the season. He finished as the second runner-up on 2 July 2023 after 98 days in the house. He subsequently made his Malayalam film debut in Pani (2024), directed by and starring Joju George.
