Maanas Nagulapalli (childhood stage name Master Ram Teja) is an Indian actor born on 2 August 1990 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. His father was a central government employee, and his postings meant Maanas grew up across Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, and Hyderabad. His mother, Dr. Padmini Nagulapalli, is an educationalist, child and women's rights activist, and former Vice President of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Hyderabad. He completed his schooling at Siva Sivani Public School, Visakhapatnam, and Good Samaritan High School, Hyderabad, and earned a B.Tech from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. He made his acting debut as a child artist in Narasimha Naidu (2001), for which he received the Nandi Award (Special Jury) and a Star Maa Award for Best Child Artist - the latter presented by actors Allu Arjun and Vishnu. He also appeared as a child in Veede (2003) and Arjun (2004). His lead actor debut came with Jhalak (2011, directed by Ravi Sharma), followed by Green Signal (2014), Kaai Raja Kaai (2015), Gang of Gabbar Singh (2015), Premikudu (2016), Soda Goli Soda (2018), and Ksheera Sagara Madhanam (2021). He ventured into television in 2021 with Kokilamma (Star Maa, produced by K. Raghavendra Rao) as the male lead, and later appeared in Karthika Deepam. His Bollywood debut came with Pyara Kulhad (2023), and his OTT debut with the horror thriller Mansion 241101 (2023). He was congratulated personally by Megastar Chiranjeevi for achieving the highest marks in his academics. In September 2021, he entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 hosted by Nagarjuna and finished fourth in the grand finale on 19 December 2021. He married Srija Nissankara on 22 November 2023.
