Bio
Manveer Kumar Baisoya, known publicly as Manveer Gurjar, is an Indian farmer, dairy farm owner, and social worker born on 13 June 1987 in Aghapur village, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. His family belongs to the Gurjar (Gujjar) community — a pastoral and farming community spread across northern India — and his parents are traditional farmers. He completed his schooling at a local school in Noida and earned a graduation degree from Delhi University, though he chose to return to Noida and join his family's farming and dairy business rather than seek corporate employment. A joint family of approximately 49 members, strong community bonds, and traditional values define his life philosophy. Outside farming, he has been an active social worker and community advocate in the Gurjar belt of greater Noida, working to improve access to education, employment, and civic facilities for his community. He is aligned with the Aam Aadmi Party. He is a trained wrestler and kabaddi player and has a passion for gymming. In October 2016, he entered Bigg Boss 10 on Colors TV — the first season to formally include commoners (called 'Indiawale') alongside celebrities. His raw authenticity, physical strength, and loyalty to his friends (especially Manu Punjabi) resonated deeply with audiences across small-town India. He was declared the winner on 29 January 2017, receiving a trophy and ₹50 lakh cash prize — becoming the first commoner to win Bigg Boss Hindi and one of only two commoners to win the show's Hindi edition. He subsequently appeared in Salman Khan's film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai (2021) in a brief role.
Being the first non-celebrity commoner to win Bigg Boss Hindi (Season 10, 2016–17), defeating multiple established television celebrities; his vocal advocacy for the Gurjar community's rights and development in the Noida–Delhi region; his appearance as a crowd favourite in Salman Khan's blockbuster Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai (2021); his AAP political affiliation.
