Muruli, popularly known as Muruli Dabbi, is an Indian television presenter and host from Bengaluru, Karnataka. He built recognition as the host of the Kannada food travel show Oggarane Dabbi on Colors Kannada - a programme that explores traditional Kannada cuisine and cooking across Karnataka. In a widely noted irony, Muruli himself cannot cook, making his role as host of a food show a source of considerable good-natured humour - a paradox that endeared him to audiences and gave him the nickname 'Muruli Dabbi'. His hosting style is known for its wit, directness, and straightforward commentary. In October 2018, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 6 as one of the nine celebrity contestants. He was eliminated in Week 11 (Day 76), finishing ninth.
