Rakesh, known professionally as MJ Rakesh and by the radio persona Prof. Ulfat Sultan, is an Indian Radio Jockey, emcee, stand-up comedian, and actor from Jaipur, Rajasthan, who grew up in Bengaluru and is fluent in Kannada despite his non-Kannada origins. He built a career as a professional compere and interactive entertainment specialist in Bengaluru, hosting corporate events, college shows, and entertainment programmes. His stage persona Prof. Ulfat Sultan became well known among Bengaluru audiences. In October 2018, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 6 as one of the nine celebrity contestants. He memorably announced at the premiere that he was single and ready to mingle, setting an entertaining tone for his stay. He was eliminated in Week 13 (Day 90), finishing seventh.
