Ram Ramasamy, born Ram Chandar on 20 December 1994 in Salem, Tamil Nadu, is an Indian actor, model, and cricketer. He completed his schooling at Golden Gates Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Venketwasapuram, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai (2012-2015). His father, Subramanian Ramasamy, served as Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. He began playing cricket at the age of 13-14 and pursued it seriously until a knee injury forced him to pivot to modelling in 2016. He went on to walk the ramp for renowned designers and appeared in campaigns for Max Fashion, Workaholic, and Rosoda. He participated in Top Model India Season 1 (Colors Infinity, 2018). He appeared in the Tamil film Ajinomoto and made a mark as the first cricketer to compete in Bigg Boss Tamil. He entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6 in October 2022 and was evicted in a double-elimination in Week 9 on Day 61, finishing in 13th place.
