Ratheesh Kumar is an Indian playback singer, comedian, actor, and anchor from Kerala, born on 14 November 1982. He began learning Carnatic music at age eight from various teachers and went on to win awards in talent competitions including Swaramanjari and Gandharvasangeetham. He built recognition through the reality show Super Star Global and subsequently established himself as a playback singer, comedian, and television anchor. He is best known to television audiences as the host of the Malayalam show Valkannadi. His debut playback song Paazhmulam Thandil from the film Ivar Vivahitharayal became a significant hit, and he is also recognised for his ghazal performances. Alongside his performance career, he teaches music and runs the Pallavi School of Music and Dance together with his dancer wife. In March 2024, he entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 as one of the original contestants. He was eliminated in the very first week (Day 6), becoming the first contestant evicted from the season and finishing twenty-fifth.
