Sagar Surya (born 24 March 1993 in Thrissur, Kerala) is an Indian actor who works in the Malayalam film and television industry. He grew up in a family running a stationery shop and earned a Master of Engineering degree before transitioning to acting after attending an acting workshop post-graduation, with his father's support despite financial difficulties. He faced personal grief when his mother, Mini, passed away in 2020. His television debut came in 2018 with the Mazhavil Manorama sitcom Thatteem Mutteem, where he plays Aadhi Shankaran - the son of the lead characters Shankaran and Vasavadatha - a role that made him a familiar face in Malayalam households across hundreds of episodes. He made his film debut in the acclaimed survival drama Kuruthi (2021), directed by Manu Warrier, playing Vishnu alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Roshan Mathew. He subsequently appeared in Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan (2022), Jana Gana Mana (2022), Jo and Jo (2022), Kaapa (2022), and Kasargold (2023), and played the main villain in Pani (2024), directed by and starring Joju George. In March 2023, Sagar participated in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5. He was evicted in Week 9 (Day 62), finishing twelfth overall.
