Sahil Anand is an Indian actor born on 1 January 1985 in Chandigarh, Punjab. He completed his schooling in Chandigarh. He made his entertainment debut on MTV Roadies 4 (2006–07) and also participated in MTV Splitsvilla 1. He went on to build a television and film career, appearing in serials including Sasural Simar Ka (Colors, as Shailendra Bhardwaj) and Ek Nayi Ummeed: Roshni (Sony TV, as Nikhil), as well as films including Babloo Happy Hai (2014) and Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara (2016). His breakthrough came with Student of the Year (2012, Dharma Productions), in which he played Jeet Khurana — the cool, popular best friend of Varun Dhawan's character — alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. He had a brief cameo in the sequel Student of the Year 2 (2019). He married Ranjeet Monga in December 2011 and the couple has one son (born April 2021). He has appeared in approximately 60 television commercials and multiple music videos. In November 2016, he entered Bigg Boss 10 on Colors TV as a wildcard contestant alongside Jason Shah and Elena Kazan. He was eliminated in Week 8 of his tenure (Day 14 inside the house), finishing twelfth overall.
