Saiyad Sana Khan (born 21 August 1988) is a former Indian actress, model, and dancer from Dharavi, Mumbai. Raised in a Muslim family, she grew up in Mumbai and pursued modelling after school before transitioning to acting. She made her Bollywood debut with Yehi Hai High Society (2005) and achieved her Tamil breakthrough with Silambattam (2008), for which she won the Best New Actress award. She subsequently appeared in Thambikku Indha Ooru (2010, Telugu) and landed prominent Bollywood roles in Jai Ho (2014, with Salman Khan), Wajah Tum Ho (2016), and a special appearance in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017). She also appeared in the web series Special OPS (2020). In 2012, she participated in Bigg Boss 6, finishing as second runner-up after 96 days. She subsequently appeared in Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 (2015). In October 2020, she announced her complete retirement from the entertainment industry citing spiritual reasons, expressing a desire to live in service of God. She married Islamic cleric Mufti Anas Saiyed in November 2020 and they welcomed their first child in July 2021. Post-retirement, she has been active as a social media influencer, businesswoman (Face Spa by Sana Khan, Haya by Sana Khan) and runs the charitable Hayat Welfare Foundation.
