Sijo John is an Indian content creator and YouTube commentator from Alappuzha, Kerala. He built a following through his channel Sijo Talks, where he produces content analysing current affairs, public controversies, and social issues from a Malayali perspective, earning a reputation for forthright commentary. In March 2024, he entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 as one of the original contestants. His time on the show was dramatically interrupted on Day 15 when he was physically assaulted by fellow housemate Asi Rocky - an incident that led to Rocky's immediate ejection from the show and Sijo's hospitalisation for minor surgery. He recovered, joining host Mohanlal on the stage on Day 20 to update fellow contestants, and eventually returned to the house on Day 45. He was eliminated in Week 13 (Day 90), finishing seventh.
