Vijayalakshmi Feroz (née Agathiyan) is an Indian actress and film producer born on 15 January 1990 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is the daughter of National Award-winning Tamil film director Agathiyan (known for Kadhal Kottai, 1996, and Kaadhal Kavithai, 1998) and housewife Radha (who passed away in 2016). She has two sisters - Kani Thiru (TV host) and Niranjini (costume designer, who debuted in Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, 2020). She began her career as a host on Star Vijay's Hello Tamizha, before her childhood friend Venkat Prabhu cast her in his directorial debut Chennai 600028 (2007), which became a surprise hit. She followed this with Anjathe (2009, Mysskin), Vana Yuddham (2012), Attahasa, Biriyani, and Chennai 600028 II (2016). After marrying her former schoolmate Feroz Mohammed (a director) in September 2015 - the pair observed their respective Hindu and Islamic faiths - she moved toward film production, co-producing Pandigai (2017, directed by Feroz). They have a son named Nilan. In 2018, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 as a wildcard contestant in Week 10 and finished as the second runner-up. In 2021, she won the Zee Tamil reality show Survivor Tamil.
