Joyjit Banerjee (also credited as Jaayjeet Banerjee) is an Indian actor and political figure from Kolkata, West Bengal, active in Bengali film and television. He has appeared in numerous Bengali films including Challenge 2 (2012), Chand Pahari (2013), Lattu (2013), Amra Paanch (2013), Prime Time (2015), Borodin (2018), and Chobiyal (2020), as well as TV serials such as Sreemoyee, Shubho Drishti, Tithir Atithi, and Checkmate. In 2016, he participated in Bigg Boss Bangla Season 2 on Colors Bangla — hosted by Jeet — and emerged as the winner of the season, becoming one of the most celebrated faces from the show.
