Madhurima Tuli is an Indian actress and model born on 19 August 1986 in Odisha to a Tata Steel employee father and NGO-working mother. Her family is from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where she grew up. She won the Miss Uttaranchal beauty title during her college years. She has a younger brother, Shrikant Tuli, who runs SVMT Music. She completed her education and pursued an acting career, initially in Telugu cinema. She made her Telugu film debut opposite Jr. NTR in Adhurs (2010) and transitioned to Hindi, appearing in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011). Her prominent Hindi television roles include Chandrakanta (Colors, 2017–18, the title role) and Kumkum Bhagya (Zee TV). She starred in the Akshay Kumar action thriller Baby (2015), Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015), and Naam Shabana (2017). She participated in Nach Baliye 9 (Star Plus, 2019) with ex-boyfriend Vishal Aditya Singh. In December 2019, she entered Bigg Boss 13 on Colors TV as a wildcard contestant on Day 70. Her turbulent history with co-contestant Vishal Aditya Singh continued inside the house, culminating in a task incident on Day 116 in which she repeatedly hit him with a chappal, leading to her immediate ejection by Bigg Boss on Day 116. She finished tenth overall.
