Bakhtiyaar Irani (born 19 November 1979 in Mumbai, Maharashtra) is an Indian film and television actor and dancer. He attended St. Mary High School, Mumbai, and was educated at Rutgers University in the USA. He is the younger brother of actress Delnaaz Irani and is married to actress Tanaaz Irani (née Lal) — the two met on the set of Fame Gurukul in 2006, fell in love, and married in 2007 despite family opposition owing to the seven-year age gap (Tanaaz is his senior). Together they run the TEE & BEE Dance Academy in Dubai. They have two children: son Zeus and daughter Zara. Bakhtiyaar came to popularity as a dancer on the celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye (2006), where he and Tanaaz came third. He appeared in the Bollywood film Karzzzz (2008) as Dr. Dayal and has also appeared in various Bollywood productions and worked with his sister Delnaaz in Yes Boss. In October 2009, he and wife Tanaaz entered Bigg Boss Season 3 as a couple — introduced under the show's 'Project DNA' theme where the two competed as separate individuals but with a shared emotional connection. He remained in the house for 78 days before voluntarily walking out on Day 79 after Bigg Boss offered any contestant willing to leave the house ₹10 lakh, telling those who took it that they risked losing the title — Bakhtiyaar accepted the offer, securing the money and finishing 4th overall.
