Claudia Ciesla (Polish: Klaudia Cieśla) is a Polish-born German actress, model, nutritionist, and author. She was born in Wodzisław Śląski, Katowice Voivodeship, Poland (now Silesian Voivodeship). Her father is a clinical psychologist of Polish Jewish descent and her mother is an architect of German Jewish descent. She began modelling at 15 and built her career across Germany before branching out internationally. In March 2006, she won an online readers' poll organised by Auto Bild, Bild, Sat.1, T-Online, and Kabel Eins, making her Germany's Super Girl 2006. She subsequently moved to India to pursue a Bollywood career. Her Indian film debut came with Karma (2008, dir. Dharam Advani). She is also a certified nutritionist and published the book Keep Eating Keep Losing on nutrition and wellness. In October 2009, she entered Bigg Boss Season 3 as one of the original contestants — one of the few international entrants in the show's early seasons. She lasted 67 days before being evicted in Week 10, finishing 6th overall.
