Anuya Bhagvath is a Tamil actress from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She began her acting career in Tamil cinema in the late 2000s and made her mark with the lead role of Sakthi in the popular romantic comedy Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009, dir. Boopathy Pandian, starring Jiiva) - one of the Tamil films for which she is best remembered. She subsequently appeared in various Tamil productions including Sundarapandian (2012) and other films and television productions. In June 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 as one of the original contestants and was the first person to be evicted from the season, leaving at the end of Week 1 (Day 6), finishing 18th overall.
