Kaajal Pasupathi is a Tamil actress and video jockey born on 23 May 1981 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The daughter of veteran Tamil comedian and character actor Pasupathi, she began her career as a VJ and television host on Sun TV and Vijay TV before transitioning to acting. Her notable film appearances include Thulluvatho Ilamai (2000), Sandakozhi (2005, opposite Vishal), and Yogi (2009). She is also known for her work as a television presenter and anchor. In August 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 as a wildcard contestant in Week 8 alongside Harish Kalyan and Suja Varunee, and was granted immunity for the first two weeks after her entry. She was evicted in Week 10 after just 16 days in the main house, finishing 8th overall.
